There is a 68 space Car Park at the train station. £1.00 for 24 hours at Weekends and Bank Holidays. £4.00 through the week.  Free parking in front of hotel  5pm - 9am and unrestricted free parking on Preston Street, behind the hotel & Haws Hill.

We have three charging points at the hotel, two on New Street and One on Preston street. There is a Fast Charger on Market street.

We have two Dog Friendly rooms. Check availability with Reception.

The Hotel and  bar are Dog Friendly. No dogs allowed in the Cocktail lounge.

Check-in time is 3pm - 7pm.  If your room is ready you can check in earlier. If you are late please call before 7pm to make arrangements.

You can check out from 7:30am until 11:00am. Late check outs can be arranged with reception if required.

We offer free Fibre fast Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. Search for "royal station guest" and log in with email or face book. No password required.

We do have an accessible room on the first floor with wheel chair access. The Double en-suite room has a seperate wet room with overhead shower, seat and hand shower.  There are two disabled toilets in the public areas on the ground floor for bars & restaurant use.  There is a disabled toilet on the first floor next to the Ballroom and Lift.

We have a disabled lift to the 1st floor bedrooms; 9,10,11,12,14 and function suite.

Floors 2 & 3 by main staircase only.

We have a large garage for storing Pushbikes and Motorbikes. Call reception to make arrangements.

We have three rooms which can be used for private dining. Call reception to book.

There is a designated smoking area to the rear of the hotel in the Courtyard. A canopy has been fitted for inclement weather

We serve breakfast from 7:30am - 9.0am Mon - Fri and from 8.0am - 10:30 Sat & Sun. 

We have on large Victorian ballroom for  150 guests and two other rooms for smaller groups.

We serve food 7 days a week in the evenings from 5pm., Lunch is served on Friday and Saturday  from 12 noon to 2:30pm. We are open all afternoon from 12pm - 7pm  & Sundays for Sunday Roast or A La Carte menu.

There is a good selection of takeaway food outlets near the hotel, serving Fish & Chips,  Chinese, Indian, Kebabs and Pizzas.

There is a COOP Opposite Hotel which is open 7 days a week, early till late. 

Supermarkets Booths, Aldi and Tesco within 5 minutes walk away.
